NaBloPoMo Day 28 - Blast from the Past

Day Twenty Eight.

I know this will date me, but I used to watch "WKRP in Cincinnati" as a kid growing up. And I loved the theme song. I admit it.

Making the rounds this Thanksgiving - one of the most popular episodes of that show. Enjoy a scene from "Turkeys Away:"

Hope you had a GREAT Thanksgiving!

WKRP was one of my all time favourite shows. I once drove through Cincinnati on my way to Florida from Toronto, and had that damn theme song in my head from about an hour before I entered the city until about 2 hours after I left it behind. And I still like it, in fact I'm singing it now...

I loved WKRP. My dad was in the radio business and I literally grew up in a radio station. By the time this program came along, Dad had moved on to television, but we used to laugh about how dead-on some of the charicatures were. Every station had one!

Had a great Thanksgiving, thank you! Hope you did too.

WT - How funny! I actually had this song stuck in my head for a few hours after this post. LOVED that show...and thought Gary Sandy was SO HOT. He's probably looking old now. And doesn't have that awesome hair.

Sayre - OMG...that sounds like SO MUCH fun!! The closest I got to radio was playing on my dad's CB radio. Happy holiday!

It was always hysterical and one of the few shows I watched back in the day. The turkey one was one of the funniest ever.

Melissa - ten bucks if you can sing it all the way through!
