Back from D.C.
Yes, I made it back with The Offspring, all her body parts, and all our luggage. I am still recuperating from the trip, and trying to catch up on work. Plus, I have major allergies from the explosion of cherry blossoms - but oh, the trip was so magnificent. I have much to share. For now, here is a photo taken by The Offspring, for you to enjoy:

kila - the cherry blossoms were gorgeous, and in the dusk, looked like snow from a distance. More details coming soon!
desert girl - the kid didn't want to leave - and she was the perfect age to go. I'll pass on the kudos!
pamela - Taft's wife began with the planting of two trees, and Lady Bird Johnson ordered 3,500 more. As a sidenote, the only other former president buried at Arlington besides JFK is...you guessed it....Taft!
matt - they aren't hard to spot, are they? I should have worn all my black suits with heels, and no one would have known.
Erik - the gossip is coming! PROMISE!!! I'm just backlogged at work. I'm hoping for a good post today.
claudia - gotta figure out how to make some money off her, you know?

mark - getting thru Dulles without a body cavity search was a GREAT accomplishment!
