Fun Monday Cuppage and BONUS Material

I know Willowtree has been wanting to do this coffee cup thing for a while, but I spoiled all the fun by posting my favorite cup a few days ago. His assignment was as follows: "I would like to see your favourite Coffee Mug. But wait there's more, I'd also like to see your favourite glasses for a) non alcoholic drinks and b) alcoholic drinks. If you want extra credit you could also post your favourite plate. Note I said favourite, not best."

I don't have a favorite OR a favourite plate, so I'm a photo shy of making the grade. But, I have a bonus video to make up for it!
To start, another look at my favorite coffee cup, from the front:
And now, from the back:
I LOVE big coffee cups. I drink one of these, full to the brim, each morning. It's only when I'm having a very groggy day that I drink another half cup. Here's my second favorite:
I've also found that when you borrow over a quarter-million dollars to purchase a business, your lender will gladly give you a coffee cup. This one is five years old, and I use it during travel:
And what kind of business owner would I be if I didn't have my OWN cups made?
Now for my favorite non-alcoholic glass to drink from, even though I do use it for Tom Collins' every so often:
This is my favorite wine glass, because it makes that neato noise when you run your finger around the rim of it:
And what classier way to drink beer than from this?
Don't know about you, but I'm kinda bored - so let's move on!

Now, this is the BEST thing I've seen for Mother's Day. I know it's not part of Fun Monday - but is a LOT more interesting than my coffee cups and glassware, and made me laugh hysterically.

All of a sudden, I wish I had a couple of sons.

Love the clip. I have to admit that it reminds me of my sister and myself when we were teenagers!

That clip makes me laugh every time.

The Virgo mug is fun!!! (I used to have a Sagittarius mug, but it broke - bummer)

Love the mugs and the swirling colours in the glass. My hubby has a beer glass just like yours which he loves.

Very cool pics. Loved the Virgo mug and the swirl glass. I saw that video awhile ago and had forgotten about it, it's just priceless!!!

I love the clip as well...and the wine glass, how come mine don't make that sound?

I LOVE that swirly glass! That would be my favorite too. Your kitchen counters look so lovely!

I love the swirly, Tom Collins, non-alcoholic glass!

I haven't got my FM up yet (I will tomorrow = a battery on the memory stick transfer card went dead), but I have managed to post an update on an orphaned foxcub our neighbour has been caring for -- he's a doll;). Come have a peek.

I like the second favourite mug! And that Tom Collins glass - I want some of those! Also laughed my head off at the video...

Your swirly Tom Collins glass is absolutely the best. Hmmm, I remember Tom Collins.

What are you talking about? Those mugs and glasses are all brilliant (and definitely make the grade).

And don't worry about not having a plate, that was just for people who don't have good mugs;)

That Mother's Day clip is the best. We watched it twice. Far better than my glassware for sure!

Love your everyday glass! Such neat colors and design!

Yes, that is absolutely what it is like to have boys in the household.

Things get broken everyday.

Loved your collection! Thanks for sharing.

For some reason I didn't picture you having flowered wallpaper ;)

The first time I saw that clip, I was so thankful I only have one son.

Lately, he and his sister have been driving me insane, so I don't know how much better it is to have one of each gender.

beccy - Makes me wish I had a sibling, too!

karmyn - love that mug, too - not sure the descriptions are accurate, tho!

matt-man - I'll bet your collection is impressive!

chrisb - We have a set of four of those beer glasses - a full beer (unless it is a Guiness) fits perfectly!

joy t. - thanks for stopping by! I think the swirl glass is a big hit.

amy w - I have to use a little of the wine to wet the glass - but some glasses won't do it. If it is a cheapo glass, it may not do it at all.

melissa - believe it or not, they are cheap formica - but I like the pattern, b/c it hides dirt easily!

tiger lamb girl - I'm definitely gonna check out your fox pics!

theotherbear - I wish I had more of those swirly glasses, too - but sadly, only have one. :-(

mjd - my hubby substitues vodka sometimes, to make a "vodka collins" which is good, too!

WT - you have outdone us all - I bow before your muggy greatness!

matt - Hey - it's a GUY who started this Fun Monday assignment! And you are ALL about being out of control, right?

marnie - I'm thinking I should put those countertops in my new home, now...you guys are all just fans!

jenni - now I have to get more swirly glasses - it seems to be a great hit! Thanks!

gawilli - I love that clip - I watched it AGAIN this morning, and tears still roll down my face.

lisa's chaos - thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!

kila - the wallpaper is something I HATE about the kitchen. It was here when we moved in. Thankfully, we won't live with it much longer! But it did go with the Victorian theme of the house.

desert songbird - I'm having enough trouble with one - just can't imagine having two!

Uhm, I know you fell in love with Rex, but my itty bitty Fun Monday is up now...not that it's nearly as pretty as the fox...but just thought I'd let you know.

Your travel mug made me think of the line in The Mexican... "Do you like sex in travel?" Do you like mugs in travel?

piglet said...

that is one hilarious video!

i love large coffee mugs too :) means less getting up and down for refills...

Tiggerlane said...

tigerlambgirl - I'll go check out your Fun Monday post ASAP!

C - LOVE mugs in travel. Sex in travel, more difficult to manage.

Piglet - I watched those boys again this morning...I can't get enough of it! If I refilled my mug too many times, my staff would kill me.

Ah, yes...wine glasses that sing and glasses that swirl--love them both! And coffee mugs--BIG free ones--ROCK!

I recognize these guys, lol, I posted that for Mother's Day (great minds...;) ). I DO have two sons, so it makes me wonder what's in my future!

I got my FM post up so late...and am visiting even later :/...doubt I'll get to everyone (there were so many this time around!).
