Hypocrisy?

Okay, I TRY not to get political on this blog, but this was just too poignant not to share. It's not so much a commentary on the presidential candidates themselves, but more of a honest look at how some in the media tend to "flip flop," depending on the party of the candidate of which they speak.

If you don't watch ANYTHING about politics this season, you really don't want to miss THIS:
Somehow, it would be more amusing, if it wasn't so terribly true...

Tigger,

You know a little bit about politics but I must say that you look much cuter in the kitchen, little lady. ;)

You're like Sarah Palin.

Republicans wouldn't view themselves as being hypocritical. They would say they're merely using the defensive line.

Righteous right-wingers.

If I can be accused of being a loony left-winger (which I'm not), then I can call the kettle black, right?

These are good, but if you think it is only supporters of the Republican party, you are sadly mistaken. There are several examples of the media's fawning and flip flopping in regards to Obama as well. In fact, why doesn't John Stewart put together a set of clips of the same thing happening on the Democrtaic side? Well, it could never be media bias, right? Go to Youtube and you can locate several.

Hey. Just stopped by to say hello. Haven't had much of a chance to blogvisit lately.
Miss you.
Did you ever know that I was on The Daily Show once?
Oh, and "You Go Girl...Sarah!"

Hypocrisy and politics go hand in hand no matter the party. That is just a sad truth.

Hypocrisy and politics are siblings. This is not limited to Democrats, Republicans, Reform, Libertarian, Socialists,etc... The sad part of the whole thing is, ALL parties involved will always give the lie that they are responding to an attack. Here's the reality, this election is a knife fight. Plain and simple. The best way to end a knife fight is to win.

richies - politics is kinda scary, too!

m@ - it's the knife, isn't it? And OMG...I think I'm MUCH cuter than Palin. Gag.

wt - damn straight. I'm totally glad I sent you that dog tooth!

desert songbird - call 'em as you see 'em, girl! And I still don't know when "liberal" became a dirty word...sigh.

storyteller - I'm sure it's only a small tidbit of what goes on in Washington. Suddenly glad I don't live there!

bermudabluez - you got me! I'm an addict!

claudia - try youtube - and search for Jon Stewart and hypocrisy.

heather - I think that Jon has a mostly Democratic audience, and the Steven Colbert show covers the Republicans.

swampy - so...WHEN? Are you for real? Give me the youtube clip!

debs - yes, it truly is. SO not what I thought it was all about. Adulthood has made me a bit of a cynic!

robocop - we must have cross-posted! And you are right - I try not to think about it, but it's really sad. Then again, like Indiana Jones, I think the winner in a knife fight is the one who brings a gun.

haha, thanks!! That was good!
