Matt Might Please Songbird

It's no secret that Songbird and I do not usually share the same taste in men. And based on previous conversations here in the blogosphere, you might be more predisposed to follow her judgment. Personally, I think Matt Damon is ideal. And, well...HAWT. I honestly believe he will become a legendary actor, along with the likes of Cary Grant, Rock Hudson, Harrison Ford, Donald Sutherland, gosh...you know the legends. He has a potential for LONG TERM viability in the industry. Smart with his career, and not all flashy with his sexuality. Okay, maybe my lady friends don't see what I see - but hey, I'm all about the intelligent guys. And hawtness.

But Songbird has made it clear that she thinks this shirtless wonder is DA BOMB. And me? I don't get the attraction. Apparently, I'm rather alone in my nonchalance.

I suppose imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, but this stint definitively elevated Matt to a higher level than this piece of eye candy, as far as I'm concerned.

Unfortunately, I just might have undone all the goodwill I created with her when I posted this, but she knows I love her, regardless of her taste in men.

Well, I can't comment on the hotness of Matt or "the shirtless wonder." I think that might worry my wife. But this debate is interesting nonetheless.

Cary Grant, Rock Hudson? That's a big compliment to Damon.

At any rate, I'm rambling. I see your comments on Animal Mind/Matt's Blog all the time. So I figured I had to check out the blog of anyone else who reads him regularly.

Cool blog. I'll be back to read more.

Hmm, call me "ambidextrous," but I find them both very appealing. The Shirtless Wonder has some might fine qualities (that Texas drawl is quite sexy), and Matt Damon reminds me of The Ex, whom, if I dare say, is very sexy despite having divorcing me.

Even I had not just consumed two Cosmos, I would STILL feel this way; I find looks sexy, but what is a real turn on are brains.

james - Thanks for stopping by! I've added you to my "must read" list as well!

And desert songbird - Honey, read that last paragraph...from the first four words, I could tell about the Cosmos. I think we both need another! Cheers!

Hi Tiggerlane,
I noticed on your profile that you own a real estate company.

Do you ever blog about real estate?

Do you know of any blogs that do?

I also own a brokerage. It's in Miami.

Tony ---Yeah, every so often, but I try not to mix work with pleasure! :-)

Not aware of any blogs that do...and if you run across real estate stuff on my site, it will be stuff about my personal trials running an office full of agents, or my own personal purchases.

Thanks for stopping by, tho!

Okay, so my grammar was a bit off last night, but I blame it on simple bad typing, NOT the cosmos!

Yeah, right, ...

Anyhoo, both of these guys are hotties in my book, but Matt Damon exudes a quiet sexiness that is more overt in The Shirtless Wonder.

I'm sure Songbird still appreciates the glowing post you wrote about her previously, even if her taste in men is questionable...(grin)

If I had to choose between Ben and Matt, it would be Matt any day.

I just saw Saving Christmas. I want to punch Ben in the face.

OK, Damon is way better than Matt, but as good as the old legends? I don't know about that.

I'll really admire him if he finishes his picture with Angelina Jolie and doesn't leave his new wife and baby for her. She has slept with almost every one of her leading men regardless if they are married or not. If he escapes her evil grip, I will be truly impressed.

Can you tell how much I love that ho-bag? (I had the name first, being older than her, and I think she should get a new one.)

Why pick between them? Why not take both?

Thats how I feel about Salma Hayack and Rosario Dawson. ;)

Hey, I like Steven's thinking! I'm not choosing between the two - I want 'em both!

Hi there Tiggerlane! I popped over to thank you for voting for my tree in Local Girl's contest! :) I see you're from Arkansas...what a small world, I spent half my childhood in Jacksonville and went to college at UCA in Conway. :)

Oh yeah, and referencing your previous post, I too find Tim Curry in "Rocky Horror" strangely erotic.

Now I just love him for him. I love how he can do "evil villain" voice-overs for just about anything from kids' animated movies to a commercial.

You're both wrong ... George Clooney da man! And after him, Buddy Hackett. Absolutely. I would kill for Buddy.

Matt is a talented actor. But what I like about him (as you pointed out) is that he's pretty down to Earth and didn't he marry some bartender (who wasn't even that hot anyway)?

No Hollywood marriage for him. That's class.

I would want to be either him or Burt Reynolds.

Okay - not only is he a clever actor, but he does a damn good impression!!! heh heh heh (but, I still have to agree with Songbird - M.C. has the better body.) (M.D. might have the better mind.)

LOL! ! ! YOu all are too funny! I do believe Songbird is right about M.C. - HOOOTT!!!

He is rather pleasing to the eyes!

Saw Matt Damon on MSNBC last night talking politics. Chris Liberal-Talkshow-Host chided him for being nice to the president in praising the administration's efforts to fight AIDS in Africa--even though Damon is a democrat.

Damon looks at the host and says, "Well, he deserved it."

Like, what am I, a retard? He's a smart sonofabitch, that's for sure.
