Puzzled by Eeyore

I need your help today!!

Last night, I was puzzled by something. Eeyore.

There's a friend of ours that I playfully refer to as "Eeyore," but I won't go into details as to why. Suffice it to say, I mean this as an endearment more than anything. This is a male friend, and up until last night, I always assumed that Eeyore was a male.

So it hit me - what's up with the pink bow on the tail? Now, Eeyore never put off any "gay" vibes, as far as I was concerned, and he definitely has a masculine voice - but could I be wrong?? Is Eeyore a gender-challenged male? A donkey in drag? Or merely an old female donkey that never got rid of that two-pack-a-day habit??

Then I got to thinking, one of Eeyore's biggest problems was that his tail kept falling off. Now, I have wondered about the cruelty of sticking his tail in with a big, fat nail - but considering his difficulty in maintaining tail attachment, I assumed it was the preferred method. However, now I'm wondering, was his body merely rejecting the overly feminine tail? Was some other donkey's tail mistakenly given to Eeyore at birth??

Help me out folks. I couldn't sleep too well last night, and I'm wondering if somehow I need closure on this!

One thing that always bugged me was the naming scheme of all the animals.

"Piglet" is, of course, a piglet. "Owl" is an owl, "Rabbit" is a rabbit, "Gopher" is a gopher, and "Kanga" and little "Roo" are easily understood.

But since it's a childrens book, I suppose you couldn't exactly call Eyore: "jackass".

And what exactly is a "Pooh", and why doesn't anyone call him "Winnie" (not even Christopher Robin)? That just seems mean. :)

Eeyore is a pessimistic closet homosexual; however he is adorable, he was/is a pioneer who helped pave the way of instilling that homosexuality is OK among our youth with cartoons. The Teletubbies and the semi-tolerable bubble blowing Sponge Bob are the first that come to mind.

My expertise in sex identification is limited to reindeer.

Now you've made me look up some important things!

Check out these facts:

Donkeys bred to donkeys produced DONKEYS. Donkey, Burro, Ass, jackass, jennet, Miniature Donkey, Mammoth, Jackstock, standard, Mexican Burro - they are all terms for Donkeys.

A male donkey (Jack) bred to a female horse produces a MULE. Mules can be either male or female.

A male horse (stallion) bred to a female donkey (jennet) produces a HINNY. Hinnies can be either male or female.

So, atv, I can only help you by knowing your parentage! But please don't wear a pink bow on your tail!

It is obvious in just a few minutes of reading mail or whatever, some folks are spending way too much time thinking and not enough time doing.
Sometimes things are just what they appear to be, why must everything be analysed. Can't it just be a donkey that dresses funny.
By the way, you know that they are called Texas Ex's because you have to graduate to be an alum.

oversexed --

I actually am friends with some homosexual men, who would not think twice about dressing like this for a Club Kid outing. Maybe therein lies my confusion!
